The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency said, this November, that they worked on the Korean Joint in the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair, which was held at the Shenzhen Exhibition and Convention Center from July 14th to July 18th (2018), and achieved a record of $71 million in consultation with 235 cases.
China Hi-Tech Fair is a high-tech exhibition organized by a total of 10 Chinese government agencies, including China’s Commerce Department, Science and Technology Ministry and Industrial Information Department. About 500,000 industrial officials participated in the exposition, and 3,500 corporate innovations from 50 countries were exhibited.
The first exhibition hall has been constructed as a place to conduct business consultation with Korean contents companies’ booths. Eleven companies based on cultural technologies such as Urobo, Salin, Real Media Works, Tori Design, Air Sound, 4THEVISION, Marvelous, Real With, Pison Contents Inc, Samwoo and Thes participated.
4THEVISION was offered a joint venture by the Shenzhen VR Association. The five-million-dollar MOU was signed in Korea in December. Real MediaWorks, which is producing coloring book contents using AR augmented reality technology, has made a conclusion with CEC (China Electronic Corporation) and MOU. They will work together on contents that are needed to establish “Lap and Expression Center”, which is worth $1.2 million (120 billion KRW).
“Shenzhen is China’s high-tech industrial Mecca, which is called Silicon Valley of the continent” said Cho Hyun-hoon, director of cultural and technological affairs division.
